JaMia Milliner
Resident Services Director
Jamia is a dedicated healthcare professional with a strong background in senior care and resident services. She began her career at Hoover Country Cottage as a Resident Assistant, where she developed a solid foundation in hands-on care and a deep respect for the dignity of elderly residents.
Jamia later continued her career at The Brook advancing to Resident Service Director. In these leadership roles, she has overseen resident services, staff coordination, and daily operations to ensure a safe, supportive, and high-quality living environment. She is currently furthering her professional development by pursuing administrative coursework to strength her healthcare leadership skills.
Anissa Lewis
Admissions Director
Anissa has been a part of The Brook team since 2024. She began her professional career at Regions Bank, where she worked for 6 years, developing a strong foundation in sales, customer service, and relationship management. Anissa’s experience and care for others led her to senior care, where she finds her work both meaningful and rewarding.
Anissa graduated from Pinson Valley High School and continued her education at Wallace State Community College, earning her associate degree in liberal arts.
She takes pride in building strong relationships with residents and families and is passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive environment. Outside of work, Anissa loves to spend time outdoors, gardening, cooking, and baking.
